Snow White and Rose Red

November 18th – December 28, 2014
The delightful Grimm’s fairy tale about two sisters and the enormous bear they befriend will enchant kids of all ages, just in time for the Holidays.

Dia de los Cuentos

February 17th – March 29, 2015
Four hilarious, touching and sometimes spooky classic folk tales are brought to life with music and dance in a celebration of California’s Hispanic influence.

INTRODUCING! Anansi, the Spider! One of the GREAT folk heroes of the world! He is a rogue, a mischief maker, and a wise, lovable creature who triumphs over larger foes. These African folktales will delight all ages.

A CHRISTMAS CAROL

Dust doesn’t have time to settle on this age-old story! And more than just dust flies with this B Street adaptation!

FRANKENSTEIN

An Original Adaptation by Jerry Montoya
Dates TBA (winter 2016)
Travel in time to the first science fiction story ever written! Journey with Viktor Frankenstein and encounter his doomed creature! A surprising tale of friendship, alienation and love.
Connected Themes/Curriculum:
For elementary audiences: Bullying, Friendship, Feeling alone and no one understanding you, Character Counts.
For middle school and older audiences: Science and the morality of science, Classical Literature, Women Authors, the Gothic Novel, Prometheus and Greek Mythology
