About the Show:

Laugh and wince at Jack’s jarringly funny new play about the strange turn his life took, when he took a strange turn on his bike in front of an onrushing car. Touching, funny and insightful, Jack chronicles the effects of concussion on the brain…and comedy.

  1. I attended the 2:00pm preview on Sunday, March 5. As always, Jack Gallagher's show was thoughtful, funny, poignant and interesting. Stage set up was great. Thank you Jack and B Street. Looking forward to the next adventure.

This is a brilliant play. Definitely worth going to see. It is inspiring and thought-provoking, but it will be nice to see it performed by an actor who is 10 years younger.
  3. Jack's performance was both funny and tenderhearted. I knew I was in for a treat when we walked into the theater to the sounds of New Mistake by Jellyfish!
  4. Interesting, thought provoking play, "but"... I think the most important message of the play "overcoming life's obstacles," was lost due to the fact that too much time was spent dwelling on self pity, fear, and depression. Where was the call to action for facing life with strength, courage, self steam and faith? The power of the human spirit to overcome is a beautiful thing. It was disturbing for me to hear a 61 year old man (young in my book) speak with regret and fear. You are a young man, Jack! A bit more humor next time. On the positive side, I am always impressed by Jack's memory and ability to speak with fluidity for more than hour. Me, on the other hand, I need a grocery list from my wife to go to Safeway:) Good job, Jack! Be happy, smile, you da' man! :)
