GANDHI: THE MUSICAL

Originally produced in Mumbai, India by the National Theatre Centre for the Performing Arts, B Street Theatre is thrilled to mount GANDHI THE MUSICAL as the first production in their new venue on Capitol Avenue. This Broadway-style musical follows the life, struggles and accomplishments of India’s Father, Mahatma Gandhi. Chronicling his beginnings in South Africa and his fight for India’s independence, GANDHI: THE MUSICAL is a theatrical sensation you don’t want to miss.

THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE
April 9 – May 7, 2018
C.S. Lewis’ timeless story of four siblings in the magical world of Narnia. In this highly theatrical telling, two actors play all the parts and reenact the war for Narnia and the battle of good, the noble lion Aslan and evil, the conniving White Witch. Join them as they go through the wardrobe into a fantastical land.

How many students can be accommodated in the theatre at one time?
B Street Student Matinees are held on our B2 stage and can hold over 300 students, teachers and chaperones at one time.
How much are the tickets?
Special field Trip price of $12 for students and chaperones. Teachers are free.
What days have field trips available?
Mondays – Fridays

What about parking?
There is a parking garage next to the theatre and some street parking. Light rail is 6 blocks away.
Is there any place nearby to have lunch?
Students can eat lunch in the courtyard next to the theatre. There are also restaurants close by. We are on block away from Sutter’s Fort.
Is there an age limit?
Because of the theatre’s intimate size and layout children under 4 are not allowed to attend.
Do you have performances with American Sign Language interpreters?
