Where are my tickets?

All theatre and Upstairs at The B tickets will be held at will call. Will call starts one hour prior to showtime. All concert tickets are available to be emailed as scannable QR codes or picked up at will call. Check in starts one hour prior to showtime and all attendees must check in with the Box Office to receive a wristband.

What is your refund/exchange policy?

There are no refunds or exchanges. All ticket sales are final.

How does seating work?

At The Sofia, all performance spaces create an intimate experience! All theatre performances have assigned seating. If purchasing online, our Box Office staff will find the best seats available for you. If you have specific seating requests, please call our Box Office at 916-443-5300 ext.1 and an associate will be able to help you. All concerts are general admission. Please note that advance ticket holders have priority and are seated at a first-come first-served basis.

Is The Sofia ADA accessible?

ADA seating is available for all plays and concerts. Our venue features an ADA accesible ramp at the main entrance and an elevator. The Sofia prides itself in offering Sensory friendly performances, services for the blind and ASL interpreted in all theatre spaces. Where is parking?

There are many parking options at our new home, THE SOFIA. We recommend using the Sutter Community Garage located in our alley at 2701 N Street. The entrance to the garage is located on 28th between Capitol Avenue and N Street. When entering the garage, you receive a printed ticket. When leaving the garage, you will insert your ticket, be prompted to pay via debit or credit card and be given a receipt. There is a 6-car white zone directly in front of the theatre located on Capitol Avenue between 27th and 28th Street. If you need to drop off or pick up a patron, please use this area. We also recommend using Lyft or Uber to get to and from the theatre. Both companies are easy to use and very cost effective.

Are bags allowed in the theatre?

The Sofia encourages patrons to bring small clutch purses (5” x 8”) or totes (14” x 14”) to our venue and inside the theatre spaces. Larger bags such as backpacks, luggage carriers and duffle bags are not permitted in the theatres. An exception will be made for medically necessary bags. All bags are subject to search.
