There’s no better way to be part of the action than working behind the scenes for B Street! Each year we accept talented volunteers to assist in productions—giving you a firsthand look at how a play comes together from start to finish. If you love theatre and believe in the importance of the arts, consider helping us put on memorable theatre performances for audiences of all ages.

Our usher program is composed of passionate volunteers who wish to support the arts and culture in Sacramento. Ushers interact directly with patrons as representatives of B Street. The main role of an usher is to ensure that all patrons have a safe and enjoyable experience at the theatre, by politely enforcing policies and following the instructions of B Street Staff.

We are looking for someone to assist with keeping the theatre’s many vehicles in tip-top shape! Our School Tour vans and vehicles take our actors across the entire state so they can perform up to three shows every weekday, so you can bet our vehicles need some love.
