Greg Alexander’s Retirement Party!

Join us at a special reception (following the closing performance of GRACE & THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT) celebrating our dear Greg Alexander's retirement from his long-held position as Director of Education at B Street Theatre! (But don't worry - you'll still see him on the Main and Family Series Stages as a Core Acting Company Member!) We'll honor Greg's many contributions and enjoy drinks and hors d'oeuvres. Tickets are limited, so grab yours soon!

Greg has been a B Street Company Member for almost 40 years. Recent Mainstage credits include: AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS, DOG MOM, DRACULA: A COMEDY OF TERRORS, THE WHITE CHIP, PICKLEBALL, SNOW FEVER: A KARAOKE CHRISTMAS, THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG, and THE LOST CLAUS. Recent Family Series credits include: ONCE UPON A TIME, HARRIET TUBMAN AND THE UNDERGROUND RAILROAD, NEVER FEAR SHAKESPEARE, and THE FIRST ADVENTURES OF THE HARDY BOYS. Along with writing partners Clifford Lee Johnson III and Jane Kelley, Greg helped write the TYA musical GRACE & THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT, which was selected for development by the Johnny Mercer Foundation’s New American Musical Writers Grove at the Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam CT. GRACE will have its premiere as part of B Street’s Student Matinee series in 2026! As Director of Education he oversees workshops in schools, hospitals, community centers, and correctional facilities, as well as class offerings with B Street’s Conservatory and Studio for Young Actors. Greg lives in Sacramento with his wife Sean and their Terriers, Finnegan Hooligan & Angus McGillicuddy.
