Two men. One nation coming apart. Frederick Douglass and Abraham Lincoln didn’t agree on much, at least not at first. But through a series of remarkable meetings, these two legendary figures challenged each other, learned from each other, and helped change the course of American history. Commissioned by B Street Theatre, LINCOLN & DOUGLASS brings history to life in an exciting and surprising story filled with big ideas, unexpected moments, and plenty of heart. Audiences of all ages will meet Lincoln and Douglass not as names in a history book, but as real people whose courage, curiosity, and conversations helped shape a nation.
