Field Trip Reservation Process

Once you choose a show, show date and time for your class, you will be prompted to fill out a reservation form. This is a ticket request, not a confirmation. A B Street representative will contact you within 48 hours to go over your reservation and arrange payment.

Dorothy, a young girl from Kansas, finds herself in the magical world of Oz in this adaptation of the classic story we all know and love. The Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion all help Dorothy in her quest to meet the Wizard and find her way home, but the Wicked Witch of the West will do everything in her considerable power to stop her. The B Street Theatre's lauded acting company takes on one of the most adored children's stories just in time for the holidays!

In this thrilling story, young Sally Ride is visited by her idol, Amelia Earhart. Together they explore the history of aviation, the breaking of barriers, and the role women had in the obliteration
of the patriarchy. This electrifying play will illuminate these fearless icons and inspire children of all ages!

Recommended for ages 7 and up.

Field Trips – A Year With Frog and Toad

Based on the classic stories by Arnold Lobel, A Year with Frog and Toad leaps from the B Street stage! Follow two best friends, the cheerful Frog and the grumpy Toad, as they hop, sing, and dance their way through a year of adventure. As the seasons change from spring to fall, these beloved characters learn lessons about life and the importance of friendship.


How many students can be accommodated in the theatre at one time?
B Street Student Matinees are held on our B2 stage and can hold over 300 students, teachers and chaperones at one time.

How much are the tickets?
Special field Trip price of $12* for students and chaperones. Teachers are free.
*All tickets have a $1.00 fee added.

What days have field trips available?
Mondays – Fridays

What about parking?
There is a parking garage next to the theatre and some street parking. Light rail is 6 blocks away.

Is there any place nearby to have lunch?
Students can eat lunch in the courtyard next to the theatre. There are also restaurants close by. We are one block away from Sutter’s Fort.

Is there an age limit?
Because of the theatre’s intimate size and layout children under 4 are not allowed to attend.

Do you have performances with American Sign Language interpreters?
We arrange specific shows during the run to have interpreters available. Please be sure to contact Valerie Marston at 916-443-5391 x114 or for a list of these dates as we have them available.
