Originating from Sacramento, California, Big Mike was immersed in the city's rich musical heritage at the young age of two. Coming from a musical lineage, Big Mike was surrounded by influential musicians in his family, from his Father and Uncle Jimi, to mentors Joe “Prodigal” Archie and Derek “DOA” Allen, all contributed to fueling his passion and honing his craft.
