Featuring: Oscar Peterson Trio, Tenor Sax Titans and the American Songbook

Throughout his career, jazz piano phenom Oscar Peterson and his trio collaborated with titans of the tenor saxophone to make some of the most swinging and influential recordings of jazz standards.

With the likes of bassist Ray Brown and drummer Ed Thigpen, Peterson’s trio recorded countless critically acclaimed albums with saxophone legends such as Lester Young, Ben Webster, Coleman Hawkins, Stan Getz and Sonny Stitt.

In this concert, pianist Joe Gilman and saxophonist Jacam Manricks will present a live performance of their favorite jazz standards from this lexicon, including Petersons renditions of songs by George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Richard Rogers, Irving Berlin and Duke Ellington.
