The Fire Within

There are signs of fire in our world as far back as we can record. It gives life but also can bring destruction. This concert is not about that kind of fire. We sing of the fire that burns deep within us. This evening, we share the songs of humanity’s sacred dance with fire and the passions it invokes. It features the music and inspiring words of Hildegard of Bingen, Elaine Hagenberg, Thomas Morley, Michael John Trotta, Alicia Keys, Holly Near, June Carter, Sara Bareilles, Franklin J. Willis and others.
