Celebrating the UFW & Song For Cesar

The Sofia, Home of B Street Theatre, along with Teatro Nagual is proud to welcome the United Farmworkers and the filmmakers of Song For Cesar to the Sutter Theatre Sunday April 16. Together we will celebrate the historical signing of Assembly Bill 1283, expanding voting rights for the union. Audiences will have the opportunity to view the Sacramento premiere of the incredible documentary about how music and art keeps movements alive. Members of the Chavez family will be at the event. Teatro Nagual will perform the song "My Father" from the upcoming B Street Family Series musical Let the Eagle Fly. Proceeds from ticket sales will go to the production costs for Let the Eagle Fly.
