Hyde & Jekyll (Top Billing at Last) by Kellie Stonebrook
What if Mr. Hyde was an idiot? What if just about everyone in Robert Louis Steven’s classic novella, The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde was an idiot? Despite using almost all of the original source material, Kellie Stonebrook’s adaptation offers a very different look at the play. Prepare to bust a gut.
Kellie is a nice girl from small-town Michigan who started getting laughs early with a funny, weird talent for imitating voices and mannerisms, which fed her curiosity about laughter and how she was causing it. Children’s theatre led to interning at a professional equity house in her hometown, led to pursuing her MFA in dramatic writing at the University of Idaho. Kellie is also a professional actor, children’s entertainer, and ventriloquist.
