LIFTED
LIFTED is a powerful dance theatre production that explores the realities and dangers of human trafficking from both a local and global perspective. Through movement and storytelling, the work illuminates not only the darkness of this issue, but also the vital efforts of the incredible organizations within our community working to combat it.
Recommended for audiences ages 13 and up, LIFTED is artistically brought to life through the choreography and direction of Sacramento Dance Theatre Artistic Director Jacob Gutiérrez-Montoya. The production is designed to spark meaningful dialogue among families and communities, offering an accessible entry point into conversations that can often feel difficult to approach.
