SDT Senior Showcase

Join us for the Sacramento Dance Theatre and Hawkins School of Performing Arts Choreography Showcase, featuring original choreographic works by the Hawkins senior class alongside collaborative company pieces.

This showcase is about process, exploration, and artistic voice, an opportunity to encourage the next generation of creators while celebrating the culmination of their year of growth and dedication. Throughout the evening, audiences will experience inspiring, thought-provoking work that highlights the creativity, courage, and vision of these young artists.

You will be moved by what these dancers and choreographers are already capable of and excited for what the future holds for the next generation of artists in our community.

Led by Artistic Director Jacob Gutiérrez-Montoya alongside Kendra Barrera and Kelley Saia, these students have spent the year developing their own choreographic voices, learning to collaborate, take risks, and bring their ideas to life on stage. This showcase will also feature selections from their company season, as well as a special performance by Sacramento Dance Theatre.
