Dance for Theatre Performers
This 30 minute class is for the dancer inside the actor. We will focus on storytelling through Musical Theatre choreography and build upon our fundamental dance technique. A basic understanding of jazz and ballet technique would be helpful but not required.

Do I have to attend every week?

Nope! You are welcome to drop in weekly if you like. We’ll have a variety of activities that will make each class fun for all.

If I was previously signed up for a Studio for Young Actors/Conservatory class that got canceled, is this replacing that class?

Nope! These virtual offerings are in addition to any classes you may have already signed up for. Once we’re able to return to the Sofia your previous registrations will be honored for future classes.

Will classes continue after the end of June?

We’ll see! Like with everything else right now, we’re taking this one month at a time. Rest assured for that as long as we’re all sequestered at home, we’ll be offering virtual classes for our friends and families! So stay tuned!

Will I be charged for the class?

Classes are FREE! However you are welcome to make a donation to help us reopen the doors once we’re given the all-clear to do so. For additional questions, please email Greg Alexander at
