Alec is a Chinese-American actor, producer, deviser, and movement director based in New York City. As a mixed-race theatre-maker, he draws inspiration from international theatre, dance, and film, looking to create cross-cultural, interdisciplinary work on the American and world stages. He serves as Managing Director of Dutch Kills Theater Company. As an actor, he has worked with directors of national and international acclaim including Chay Yew, Nia DaCosta, Joe Dowling, and David H. Bell. Alec’s recent performance credits include: Good Enemy (Audible Theater), Comedy of Errors, A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Chicago Shakespeare Theatre), Nightwatch (Goodman Theatre, Eugene O’Neill Theater Center), House of India (Eugene O’Neill Theater Center), TEMPING (Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Adelaide Fringe Festival), The Crystal Spider (Haven Theatre), Forsythian Dweller’s Club (Minnesota Fringe Festival), and Peter Pan & Wendy (Burning Coal Theatre). Chris Tabet is thrilled to be making his B Street Theatre debut! A graduate of The William Esper Studio, he later played the lead in the final world premiere play of A.R. Gurney, AJAX (The Flea Theater) which garnered a New York Times Critic Pick. When not acting, he writes and records his own music, which can be found on Spotify or Apple Music.

Greg serves as B Street Theatre’s Director of Education and member of the Core Acting Company. Recent Mainstage credits include: PICKLEBALL, SNOW FEVER: A KARAOKE CHRISTMAS, THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG, and THE LOST CLAUS. Recent Family Series credits include: THE FLYING MACHINE: THE STORY OF THE WRIGHT BROTHERS, THE WIZARD OF OZ, and TREASURE ISLAND. Along with writing partners Clifford Lee Johnson III and Jane Kelley, Greg is currently working a TYA musical, GRACE & THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT, which was selected for development by the Johnny Mercer Foundation’s New American Musical Writers Grove at the Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam CT. As Director of Education he oversees workshops in schools, hospitals, community centers, and correctional facilities, as well as class offerings with B Street’s Conservatory and Studio for Young Actors. Greg lives in Sacramento with his wife Sean and their Westies, Quincy Magoo & Finnegan Hooligan.

Stephanie is a B Street Theatre Core Company Member. Recent Mainstage credits include: Charade, Dance Nation, One Man, Two Guvnors, Airness, We’re Gonna Be Okay and The Last Match. She co-starred in and co-wrote Treatment with company members Tara Sissom and Amy Kelly. Upstairs at the B credits include: Maximum Occupancy and Seekers of the Strange. Other Mainstage credits include: Hand to God, Speed-the-Plow, Handle with Care, 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche and The Explorers Club, and many more. Family Series credits include: Tis the Season, Charlotte’s Web, Alice In Wonderland, Robin Hood, Frankenstein, and others. Regional Theater credits include: Alabaster, Slowgirl, reasons to be pretty, and Clybourne Park (Capital Stage).

Peter Story is a proud B Street Theatre Core Company Member. You may have seen him recently in Cosmo St. Charles is Dead and Someone in this Room Killed Him, Rescue Me (which he also co-wrote with Tara Sissom-Pittaro), Love & Baseball, or Lovers & Executioners. Some of his favorite B Street credits include One Man, Two Guvnors; Byhalia, Mississippi; The Forever Question and Ironbound. Local credits include Luna Gale (Capital Stage) & Five Course Love (Sacramento Theatre Company). Other regional credits include Surviving Sex (Garry Marshall Theatre) & the national tour of the one-man Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus. For Elisabeth Nunziato, touring, directing and acting with the Family Series has been one of the most formidable experiences in her career. We learn and celebrate the building blocks of great storytelling in every Family Series production. This season, Ms. Nunziato went from the award-winning “Blood of the Lamb” and “What The Constitution Means To Me” to “Marie Curie and the Sisterhood of Science”; all equally beautiful and exciting productions. A founding Company Member, Elisabeth is thrilled to be working with this incredibly talented and funny group of theater artists. Ms. Nunziato makes her home in Sacramento with her husband and fellow B Street family member, Jason Kuykendall. She is a passionate acting coach and with the Actor’s Workshop continues Ed Claudio’s legacy of commitment to actor training and great theater.

Jerry Montoya is the Executive Producer of the B Street Theatre and the Sofia Center for the Arts and he has worked as a director, writer, actor, designer, stage manager, and educator among many other positions in professional theater for the past 30 years. For B Street he recently directed the hit comedy The Play That Goes Wrong, the critically acclaimed Jump as well as Byhalia, Mississippi, which closed prematurely due to the pandemic. He has written 14 plays for the Family Series including Robin Hood, The Flying Machine, Frankenstein as well as next season’s The Hardy Boys. His play Love And Baseball received its world premiere at B Street in 2016 and is now a feature film streaming on HBO/Max. His family narrative Nosotros La Gente was originally commissioned and produced by American Stage in St. Petersburg, Florida and just enjoyed a successful run on the B Street Mainstage in Spring 2025.
